Last night, during sound check Peter Howarth - The Hollies Lead Singer collapsed and was taken to hospital. He was diagnosed as having a kidney stone.

He was administered serious pain killers as Peter wanted the show to go on.

However, on his return to the Milton Keynes Theatre at approx 7.00pm, he collapsed in the car park with another painful episode & was rushed back to hospital, so reluctantly we had to cancel the show.

I have spoken to Peters wife this morning and she explained that Peter had phoned this morning and he was feeling better. He explained to her that when he was discharged from casualty at 12.30am the Doctor informed him that he may have passed the stone.

His intention is continue to play the remaining three shows.
